The User Interface Artist will be working with the Art Director and Producer, creating 2D Art Assets (buttons, icons, navigation and extensive flat (2D) art props) that drive the visual identity and user interface of the game. This UI Artist will also create final in-game artwork and placeholder artwork as needed by engineering.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

- A killer portfolio showing a broad range of styles for a wide variety of applications, with experience creating 2D Art assets for mobile, casual or online gaming a strong plus
- 1+ years professional experience as an artist in video games or online media
- Strong traditional drawing and painting skills
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash (or equivalents)
- Basic animation skills
- Strong graphic design skills required
- 3D and graphic design skills a plus, but not required
- Formal art education, BFA from an accredited art/design school preferred

Skills
- 2-5 or more years of software programming experience with strong competency in but not limited to; C and C++.
- 2-5 years experience developing software in either Unix or Windows environment
- Has comprehensive understanding and experience implementing software applications
- Very high level of personal programming achievement
- Proven ability at multi tasking under considerable pressure
- Proven leadership and mentorship abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Experience with relational databases and/or server architectures an asset
